These terms govern use of sketchingthebeast.com and purchases from Sketching the Beast. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms, subject to applicable law.

2. Products and availability

We offer artwork and art-related products, including prints, canvases, original artwork, and commissioned work. Product descriptions, sizes, materials, and prices are shown on individual listings. Colors and appearance may differ slightly due to screen settings, printing, and materials. Items and prices may change without notice. A submitted order is not guaranteed accepted until confirmed; if we cannot fulfill an order, we will notify you and refund amounts paid for the unfulfilled item.

3. Pricing and payment

Prices are in US dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes and shipping are calculated or disclosed during checkout. Payments are processed through authorized payment service providers, including Square. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers on our website. Payment providers may apply their own terms and privacy practices. We may decline or cancel orders reasonably suspected to be fraudulent, subject to applicable law.

4. Shipping and delivery

Shipping options, charges, and available destinations are displayed at checkout. Processing and delivery estimates, when provided, are estimates rather than guarantees unless expressly agreed otherwise. Custom and made-to-order products may require additional production time. Customers are responsible for entering an accurate delivery address and contacting us promptly about errors. We will comply with applicable laws concerning shipment delays, notices, cancellation options, and refunds.

5. Returns, damage, and order issues

Contact us at admin@sketchingthebeast.com if your order is incorrect, damaged, defective, or missing. Include your order number and photographs when applicable. Return and cancellation eligibility depends on the product, its condition, any clearly disclosed product-specific policy, and applicable law. Do not send returns without first contacting us for instructions. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived. 6. Commissions and custom artwork

Commissioned artwork is subject to a separate written quote or agreement describing scope, size, medium, price, payment milestones, revisions, estimated schedule, delivery, and any cancellation terms. Work begins only as agreed in writing. Unless expressly stated in a signed written agreement, purchasing or commissioning physical artwork does not transfer copyright or commercial reproduction rights. Any deposits, installment arrangements, or cancellation charges must be disclosed and agreed to before payment and remain subject to applicable law.

7. Artwork ownership and intellectual property

Except where otherwise indicated, original text, website design, and artwork created by Sketching the Beast are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Purchase of a physical piece or print does not, by itself, grant permission to reproduce, sell copies of, commercially exploit, or train systems on the artwork. Some works may depict third-party characters or other protected subject matter; the respective rights remain with their owners. Nothing here claims ownership of third-party intellectual property. 8. Website use

You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operations, submit fraudulent orders, or use website content in violation of applicable law or others’ rights. We may restrict access or cancel transactions where legally permitted to protect the site, customers, and business.
